Trpanj's area is ideal for hiking and bicycling. The real jewel is two kilometre-long walk, going about Trpanj along the coast from one side and Mediterranean vegetation on the other side.
For those wanting some serious recreation we recommend the fifteen kilometre-long road leading to the bays Divna and Duba. The road passes next to beatiful vineyards of Donja and Gornja Vručica, breathtaking chasm above the magnificent beach Divna, untouched waterside, olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation.

Trpanj's county along with everything previously mentioned, offers beatiful, mainly gravel beaches, that are visited even by tourists from other tourist places on the peninsula.

On every beach you can can linger on the sun or in the shade of pine tres, palm-trees, tamarisks and other mediterranean plants.

Due to its favourable geographic position it has mild climate during whole year, when a hot, moderate, summer, afternoons sea breze (mistral) freshes you.

Trpanj is a place to spend your holiday if you love to meet local customs and local manifestations. Tourist Board of Trpanj organizes concerts, concerts of local vocal groups called klape and plays in the old town centre.

During summer nights, on Trpanjs waterfront, fishery nights and bowling tournaments are organised-when local inhabitants and their guests spend pleasant evenings with free grilled fish and local wines.

Unexploited investment potential of health tourism in Trpanj

Therapeutic mud
Trpanj's lagoon Blace is covered in therapeutic mud. According to the research carried out by the Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine Institute of Zagreb University, Faculty of Medicine (1969), Physiatric Institute of Sarajevo (1966), and other foreign institutions, usage of this mud is much more efficient in treatment of various rheumatic deseases and female genital deseases than the treatment in some other well known Adriatic treatment centres.
