How to get to Trpanj - arrival information
Peljesac is situated on the south of Croatia in Dubrovnik - neretva county.
Although it has all characteristics of dalmatian islands, as a peninsula, it has an advantage of traffic connections with a mainland.

Trafic connections
Trpanj is a tourist place settled on the northeast coast of Peljesac peninsula, whose location enables you to come via sea or via land by a tourist road that stretches along the entire peninsula.
A big harbour protected from all winds enables yachtsmen to dock and everyday ferry connection with Ploce.
Coming to Trpanj by car?
If you decide to get to Trpanj by your car, it is not neccessary to use any other means of transportation.
If you are comming from the north of Croatia you can go to the highway A1 Zagreb-Split, to some other alternative directions that are not on the highway (as Zagreb - Karlovac - Plitvice - Gracac - Knin - Sinj - Split - Makarska - Ploce) or from Rijeka along the Adriatic tourist road.
Otherwise, if you are comming from the northeast of Croatia, you can go via Bosnia and Herzegovina to the boarder crossing Metković, if you wish to shorten your journey.
Upon the arrival to Ploče you can choose to continue your journey by your own car via Neum (BiH) to Ston and Pelješac-120 km. app, or you can relax during a one-hour navigation on the ferry that docks in the centre of Trpanj.

Wish to travel to Trpanj by boat?
Along the previously mentioned ferry line from Ploče, you can travel to Trpanj quite easily with some other ferry lines.
For instance, Jadrolinija has a line that goes along the entire coast from Rijeka to Dubrovnik and that stops in Korčula, wherefrom you go to Orebić by a ferry or a boat in 15 minutes. From Orebić to Trpanj there is a bus that will take you for another 25 km.
If your timing of ferrys and busses is not perfect, there is a taxi in Orebić harbour on your disposal.
Beside being connected with north of Croatia, Korčula, Split and Dubrovnik are connected with Italian harbours with fast lines (SEM maritime company and Blue Line).
